The last Sunday in September brings other "lasts" with it. It is the last weekend of WCOOP, and today was the last chance to win one of the many £1,500 PS Women Live prize packages to EPT London.
But all of that will lead to firsts. Next weekend will be the first Women's Sunday of October, and we have exciting news about the weekly tournament coming next month. We will also find out who will be the highest ranking female player of the 2011 WCOOP series and win the $3,500 prize package to the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas. And as always we will have exciting Facebook and Twitter freerolls to help boost your bankrolls. Check the very end of this blog post for links to follow along.
For now, let's stay in the present and deal with today's Women's Sunday. We had another solid field of women at the tables this week:
Total players: 224
Prize pool: $11,200.00
Paid finishers: 36

There were two players in the field bearing the PokerStars logo, and both had $50 bounties on their virtual heads for the opponents who were able to eliminate them.
Friend of PokerStars Charlotte "Sjlot" Van Brabander was the first to exit in 163rd place. And it was well into the second hour of play that Team Online's Adrienne "talonchick" Rowsome was eliminated in 71st place.
Into the third hour, five tables were reduced to four, and on toward the last two tables. That happened just before the fourth hour of play started, and players were eliminated at a rapid pace. The exit of gingerweasel in 11th place brought hand-for-hand action into play.
After more than 10 minutes, Koukla13 made her final move with [Ah][4c], and luckyno75 was along holding [9h][9d]. The pocket pair held up to the [5h][Tc][6c][Jh][7c] board, and Koukla13 had to leave in tenth place with $179.20.
