1:23pm: Carlos Rodriguez eliminated in 18th
Carlos Rodriguez and Daniel Ospina battled again. Rodriguez won the first clash, but this time Ospina exacted revenge. Both players got it all-in preflop. Rodriguez was trailing with [Ah][Jc] against [Jh][Jc]. Ospina's Jacks held up and Rodriguez busted out in 18th place. He won $5,420.

1:20pm: Samar Hodali chipping up
Over at the featured table, Engelberth Varela opened for 22k from the cutoff. Pablo Gonzales raised to 121k. Samar Hodali flat-called. Varela folded. The flop was [7h][3d][2d]. Gonzales checked.

Samar announced, "All-in!"

"Ave Maria," muttered Gonzales before he folded.

Samar flashed [Jc][Jd] and Gozales showed [As][Qs]. Samar, the last female standing, won the pot and added well over 150k to her stack

1:15pm: Yacin Vasquez out in 19th
Michel Barham raised to 35,000, then Yacin Vasquez made it 35,000 to go from the cutoff. It folded to Alcides Tovar who reraised all in for about 120,000. Barham folded, but after some thought Vasquez made the call. A count down of stacks showed that Vasquez had Tovar covered by only two butterscotch-colored (1,000) chips!

Vasquez had [Kc][Qd] and had run smack into Tovar's [As][Ah]. The board ran out [3c][5h][7s][Kd][7h], and Tovar had doubled to about 260,000.

On the next hand, Vasquez was all in with [Ad][4s], and Leonardo Zepeda was his opponent holding [As][10s]. The five community cards came [8d][Jd][2h][9h][10c], and Vasquez was vanquished. He earns $5,420 for his 19th-place finish.

1:04pm: Derek Lerner's ESP?
Derek Lerner and Pablo Gonzales clashed in two pots. On the first hand, the board read [10h][8h][7h][Ac]. With 48k or so in the pot, Lerner took a stab with a 30k bet. Gonzales moved all-in for over 625k. Lerner headed into the tank.

"Do you have two sixes over there?" inquired Lerner.

"Call and find out," mused Gonzales.

Lerner eventually folded. Gonzales offered to show him one of his cards. He spread them apart and pushed them toward Lerner. Lerner was picky and didn't care. Gonzales turned over the [Ah]. Lerner bobbed his head. Gonzales then flipped over the other card... the [As].

"Nice fold," Lerner said to himself.

An orbit later, Lerner and Gonzales were heads up again. The board read: [Jh][10h][2s][As]. Lerner bet 20k. Gonzales popped him for a 111k raise. Lerner folded and Pablo flashed [Ks][Qd] for a turned Broadway straight. Lerner avoided another potential mishap, but his stack slipped to 140k.

12:57pm: Ernest Kajiura eliminated in 20th
We caught the action on the turn. The board read [10s][8s][7d][As]. Pablo Gonzales checked. Kajiura bet 35k. Gonzales tanked for a few minutes before he emphatically slammed a tower of blue chips forward. Kajiura moved all-in and Gonzales insta-called with [Js][2s]. Kajiura tabled [Ac][6s]. The river was the [5d] and Gonzales dragged the pot. Kajiura busted in 20th place. The Brazilian earned $5,420.

12:50pm: Hernan Reyes eliminated in 21st
Hernan Reyes opened for 37k. Leonardo Zepeda shoved all-in and Reyes called. Zepeda was ahead with pocket Jacks against pocket tens. The Jacks held up and Reyes headed to the rail in 21st. He'll go back to Venezuela $5,420 richer.

12:43pm: Yepez eliminated in 22nd
Hugo Kahan opened with a raise to 31,000 from the hijack seat, then Luis Yepez reraised all in for 120,000 from the cutoff. The table folded back around and after a moment's pause Kahan made the call.

The five community cards came [7c][Qc][9d][4s][6c], and Kahan's eights had held. Yepez goes out in 22nd, worth $5,420. Kahan now has about 375,000.

12:26pm: Daniel Ospina loses a hand
This is breaking news because for the entire tournament it seemed as though Daniel Ospino has been winning every hand he's played. He battled against his fellow Colombian, Carlos Rodriguez. Ospina opened for 22k. Rodriguez min-raised. Ospina called. The flop was [10h][8d][8c]. Ospina check-called a 22k bet from Rodriguez. The [3d] fell on the turn and both players checked. The river was the [10d] and both players checked again. There was a moment of hesitation before either player would reveal their cards. Ospina pointed at Rodriguez and mentioned that he was the last player to bet, which meant that he had to reveal first. Rodriguez sheepishly tabled [Qh][5h] for tens and eights with his Queen-kicker playing. Ospina slowly slid his cards toward the muck. Queen-high was enough to win the pot for Rodriguez.

12:17pm: Stebeleski out in 23rd
After coming back from just 1,000 chips late on Day 1, Canadian Brad Stebeleski impressively lasted all of the way to a 23rd-place finish, good for $5,420. On his final hand, Stebeleski was all in for a little over 100,000 with [A][8] versus chip leader Daniel Ospina's [A][Q], and the better hand held up.

12:13pm: Miguel Velasco gone in 24th
We have our first elimination of the day in Miguel Velasco of Colombia. After pushing all-in for his last 50,000 with [a]-x, Velasco was called by Juan Diego Marsano who held pocket queens. A queen flopped, and by the turn Velasco was drawing dead. He takes $5,420 for his finish.

12:10pm: Late Arrivals
We started with 24 players today, but only 22 took their seats when cards went into the air. Raul Pino and Derek Lerner were AWOL, but both finally arrived -- albeit a few minutes late. Lerner is sitting at the feature table to the left of Team Online Pro Karlo Lopez.

12:05pm: Quick double up for Tovar
Alcides Tovar doubled up with pocket jacks against his fellow Peruvian's Yacin Vasquez Big Slick. Tovar was under 100k to start the day and he improved his stack to almost 200k.

12:01pm: Shuffle up and deal
Cards are in the air. There are about 15 minutes left to go in Level 18. It looks as though almost everyone is seated as the first hands are being dealt. We're still looking for Derek Lerner and Raul Pino.

11:56pm: Stack 'em up!
Most of the 24 remaining players are in their seats, unbagging their chips as ready for some more poker in Peru. We're just a few minutes away from the start of Day 3!
